Youngstown's 12" Primary Leather Protector Mitt is engineered for electrical lineworkers who work with Class 1 through 4 rubber insulating mittens and need a leather protector built specifically for mitten-style coverage. Using the same innovative ergonomic approach as our Primary Leather Protector glove line, this mitt is designed from the ground up to fit perfectly over rubber insulating mittens per ASTM F496/ASTM F696 — eliminating the bulk and poor fit that plague traditional protector mitts. Water-resistant cow grain leather and a cow suede cuff deliver the grip and durability that utility crews demand in any weather condition, while the FR Strap System ensures nothing on this protector will drip, melt, or ignite if exposed to an arc flash. Arc rated to 32 cal/cm² and NFPA 70e compliant. Built for the lineworkers who need mitten-style protection without compromise.
