Youngstown's 14" Cut Resistant Primary Leather Protector delivers everything our standard Primary Protector offers — and adds the cut, puncture, and enhanced flame protection of a full Kevlar® fiber lining throughout the entire glove and cuff. Ergonomically designed to fit perfectly over Class 1 through 4 rubber insulating gloves per ASTM F496/ASTM F696, this protector uses water-resistant cow grain leather, a cow suede cuff, and Youngstown's innovative ergonomic glove pattern to deliver the fit and dexterity that lineworkers depend on for controlled hand work in demanding environments. The water-resistant leather treatment enhances performance in the wet and rainy field conditions that utility crews face every day — keeping the leather performing and protecting longer through rain, sleet, and wet vegetation. The Kevlar® fiber lining delivers 360° cut and puncture protection alongside meaningful flame resistance — making this the most protective option in Youngstown's 14" primary protector lineup. Finished with an FR Strap System to ensure nothing will drip, melt, or ignite if exposed to an arc flash. Arc rated to 48 cal/cm² and NFPA 70e compliant.
