Youngstown's 14" Primary Leather Protector is engineered specifically for electrical lineworkers who depend on rubber insulating gloves for voltage protection. Ergonomically designed to fit perfectly over Class 1 through 4 rubber insulating gloves per ASTM F496/ASTM F696, this protector delivers an unrivaled combination of fit, dexterity, and arc flash protection that traditional protectors simply can't match. We use premium cow grain leather and an innovative ergonomic glove pattern to eliminate the bulk and reduced feel that plague standard protectors — so lineworkers maintain full hand control whether working lines, connecting hardware, or operating in tight spaces. The cow suede cuff and FR Strap System ensure nothing on this protector will drip, melt, or ignite if exposed to an arc flash. Arc rated to 32 cal/cm² and NFPA 70e compliant — built for the demands of the modern electrical utility environment.
