When winter conditions are at their worst, Youngstown's Waterproof Extreme Winter Mitt is built to keep your crew warm, dry, and protected through the entire shift. Designed for electrical lineworkers and utility professionals operating in severe cold and wet conditions, this mitt combines multiple layers of protection into one purpose-built package. A soft FR fleece liner sits against the hand for comfort and warmth, followed by 120g Nomex® insulation for serious cold weather performance. A waterproof membrane keeps moisture out in rain, sleet, and snow, while a Kevlar® fiber lining from fingertip to cuff delivers 360° cut and flame resistance without compromising warmth or waterproof performance. The double-layered base grain leather outer shell with suede reinforcement provides the grip and durability utility crews demand. The massive gauntlet cuff fits easily over winter jackets, and the trigger finger design allows for meaningful hand function even in the most demanding cold weather work. Arc rated to 100 cal/cm² — the highest arc rating in the Youngstown lineup. Built for the utility worksite, not just the weather.
