Purchased the waterproof winter plus gloves for my work as a horticulturist. Most gardening gloves emphasize breathability and quick drying, but in the cold, these features are a detriment. And frozen soil that you have to chip out of pots and use water to loosen in order to stick greens in is always going to be wet. Winter pruning? Cold, sometimes wet, needs lots of dexterity. These gloves have been a life saver. Their waterproof layer is top notch, and even if the leather is stiffer than most gardening gloves boast, the grip more than makes up for it handling tools. I am impressed.

I had these gloves about two weeks and so far I'm satisfied. They intitially felt tight (I ordered Mediums based on hand measurements) but have become better fitting as they break-in. Dexterity is reasonable good for insulated gloves. These gloves have provided reasonable warmth during 20-30 deg F exposure; I don't think they will be as good with colder. (0-20 deg F) weather but time will tell. I like the neoprene cuff but did not like the Velcro closure strap. The strap was a bit bulky and caught on my coat's cuffs. I easily removed the straps with a stitch puller.

The gloves are made with excellent quality and tons of flexibility. Very happy with my purchase!

I have been using your goat skin leather gloves for several years. I wear through about 1 pair a year, mostly splitting several chords of firewood, digging holes with a shovel to plant trees and flowers and raking leaves. They a durable and comfortable. The fingertips wear out first so if anything they could be stronger to last as long as the rest of the glove. FYI, I generally wear rubber/cloth gloves when I work with my hands in the soil. Tom

The ordering/shipping process was easy and fast. The gloves are as described and they are keeping my hands dry...not sure yet how they will perform in really cold weather. The gloves are a bit long in the fingers and they do not provide a lot of dexterity. Maybe that will improve once they are broken in. It would be nice to have gloves specifically made for small female hands.

I needed new farm gloves that were warm and waterproof. So far, they are great!

I reached out to Youngstown Gloves because I wanted to get a good pair of work gloves for my husband for Christmas. Not only did I not know what type to get, but I also was not totally sure of his size. Max Hackett helped me with my choice, and I could not have been more pleased! I only ordered one pair because the other I wanted was out of stock. I went to Amazon to order the second pair. The pair from ytgloves arrived in a nice box, and it was surrounded with a piece of paper to protect it. The pair from Amazon came with something else I had ordered and it was kind of folded over with no protective box and no surrounding paper. Granted, the ones from Amazon were a little less expensive than the price quoted me, but the help that I got from Max was extraordinary and the reassurance that they could be exchanged for a different size if needed cinched the deal. As it turns out, my husband had misplaced his Home Depot gloves so I went ahead and gave him his ytgloves early. He was shocked that they were so nice and fit perfectly. Only problem is I have to find another stocking stuffer to replace it! Thanks, Max, for all the help. I now know where to go for gloves. Buy LOCAL!

Youngstown cut resistant water proof glove is beautifully made, seems to be high quality, but they are obviously not designed or built with dexterity in mind. I live in an area that receives nearly constant rain and snow in the winter, regular chainsaw gloves are miserable after just a few minutes. Bought these thinking they were the answer but after trying them on they obviously are not. I am sending them back. I am sure that they would be great for things other than operating a chainsaw.

I am a storekeeper from a large utility company and the crews have nothing but good to say about the gloves. The company has switched from Kunz protectors to the Youngstown and currently not stocking the mitten style and I have a single lineworker who prefers the mitten over the glove so I went on line to order a pair for him, the sight was easy to use and I was able to find what I was looking for in no time. I put the order in and I recevided the gloves in no time. He was so happy, he gave me a pile of halloween candy! :)

I have only had them for a short time so my experience is limited so far. I had a pair of Hybrid XT gloves previously which I really liked until the back of the pinky finger ripped open. I opted for the full leather gloves this time. I can tell they are a quality product and should hold up well out in the field.

I bought these gloves for my 84 year old dad who still bundles wood to sell. He says these gloves are not bulky and he can easily pick up small sticks of wood. He also brags on how soft they are.

I bought the Hybrid XT gloves in XXXlarge and they fit perfectly. I like that they are real leather and for summer this is the best choice. I did think the palm material was on the thin side, but for working in the yard handling a weed eater, lawn mower or other power tool, these are great! I have used them for about 3 days now working in the yard and no problems yet.

Gloves use to fix exact, Now it seems that the fingers are a bit longer and The glove it’s self are way loose then all the previous pairs that I’ve purchased from Youngstown.

I have purchased several pair, at least ten, over the past couple of years and they are buy far the best bang for your buck when it comes to protective gloves. I use FR ground gloves as well as the hybrid. Highly recommend.
