Youngstown's 10" Secondary Expertex® Hybrid Protector represents the next generation of hand protection — built to the new ASTM F3258 protector standard and designed to be worn over Class 0 and 00 rubber insulating gloves. ASTM F3258 opened the protector category to innovative modern materials, and Youngstown has taken full advantage. The top of hand is constructed with Hi-Viz FR Nomex® — an inherently flame-resistant knit fabric that is lightweight, flexible, and highly visible on the worksite. The 0.6mm sheep grain leather palm delivers near second-skin touch while maintaining the grip and abrasion resistance needed for precise, controlled hand work. Originally developed for electrical utility crews performing distribution switching and metering work requiring Class 0 or 00 insulating glove protection, the Expertex® Hybrid has found a growing following in EV manufacturing facilities and data centers — any environment where workers need maximum hand dexterity when wearing Class 0 or 00 insulating rubber gloves. Arc rated to 4 cal/cm² and NFPA 70e compliant. Where precision matters, the Expertex® Hybrid sets a new standard.
