Youngstown's 13" Secondary Leather Protector is engineered for electrical lineworkers who wear Class 0 and 00 rubber insulating gloves and need a leather protector that fits, moves, and performs as well as the rubber glove underneath it. Ergonomically designed to fit perfectly over Class 0 and 00 rubber insulating gloves per ASTM F496/ASTM F696, this protector uses the highest quality water-resistant goat grain leather and an innovative ergonomic glove pattern to deliver a level of fit and dexterity that traditional protectors simply can't match. The water-resistant leather treatment enhances performance in the wet and rainy field conditions that utility crews face every day — keeping the leather performing and protecting longer through rain, sleet, and wet vegetation. The FR Strap System ensures nothing on this protector will drip, melt, or ignite if exposed to an arc flash. Arc rated to 25 cal/cm² and NFPA 70e compliant. When the job requires precise hand control with full arc flash protection in any weather, this is the protector built for it.
